Much has happened and I suppose it's time to catch up. Catch up to whatever that's been going on with me in the past month - a very long month consisting of many things. Hope all those over in the States have had a good thanksgiving, for I did get a decent pair of inner earphones during the Black Friday Sales on Amazon happyemoticon.jpg

First up, a mini-review consisting of 140 letters on Dark Souls for the PS3/360. That's a tweet if you know what I mean so are you ready? I'm a lady, let's begin!

Dark Souls, they should emphasize more on the grind than the dying part.
In other words, I've poured 90+ hours into this 'unforgiving' game; only to not feel the need to play it again despite replayability. There's more negative than positive comments overall and I won't bother compare it to Demon Souls or any other similar game. Yes, it was fun to play but that's about it. IMO it's not worth the full price, nor your time if you lack patience.

Hang on, what's this?

A game that matters!! I'll get round to doing a small post about my guard duties in Skyrim, possibly tomorrow afternoon since I have half the day off work. Surprisingly it devours a man's pen*s faster than a hooker would for $59.99, that's how stonkingly good it is.

There's also my Monster Hunter activities to talk about, Idolm@ster goods, this season's anime, PSO modelkits, London activities and random youtube videos to share. They'll all get their own seperate posts in due time and now - I shall drink till I pass out.

Temporarily using a simple layout for the site, will find the day when I'll add great sauce to it all and dish out something that's visually tasty. Actually it's not that bad at the moment!

Turns out that picking up on Infinity was harder done than easier said to have done? Upon running Magashi's Eradication I felt to put it down, swapped it over with a client mission but it's still daunting to play. Could be Clad-6 which is boring me; like going to the same workplace that you don't enjoy and getting a re-occurring headache every time you walk in.

You know what? After seeing PSO2's ranger in action I feel like shooting stuff... Guess I'll do that instead. Will leave you with a spinning break, courtesy of a recent screen capture.

Happy Easter holidays everyone!! Thought I'd do a quick update, compared to the year before I haven't been doing much. Was considering to switch over to tumblr for quantity and here for quality if ya know what I mean. For those that tuned into last nights PSP2i Thanks Festa were in for a treat. Sausage-fest infinity with a dabble of pure jello, some salt and intense runs for all the family to enjoy. Praise Sakai!

What can I say? It's definitely going the way that Shining Hearts Force Cross has done so for arcade. For those hardcore PSO fans that demand it to be like PSO Episode 1/2 then they can go shove a Sol Atomizer up their butt. Since it's in alpha you can expect a lot more in the coming versions, can't wait!

With all of that happening, I'm playing Infinity again since I've been on hiatus after the last post. Thought of recording some footage for tonight and will mess around to see what I'd get. Maximum Attack Infinity event should be up today but PSN has been down for some time, apparently it got hacked therefore causing it to go down worldwide. It got me wondering, XBL gets free Gold member access for those that aren't paying for the subscription over this weekend. Conspiracy much?

For those Monster Hunters out there that follow this blog, I've been considering to do a Youtube Channel dedicated to that consisting of Tri, Freedom Unite and Portable 3rd. Will see how that goes since this week should see the return of Vinimin, Zepher and XIS in a gather up for more hunting!

Large Gurhal'd Chicken

It's March and by the power of Grayskull it's an update! There isn't a good reason why I haven't posted for a while so don't mind me while I hide in the gutter. Twitter isn't a problem because tweeting is easy, getting round to typing out the posts here would require someone to kick me. Being busy is one thing and being busy is another but that doesn't stop me from playing Infinity. Now that I've read what I have typed, the punctuation is quite a mouthful; like the burgers I've been making at home with bacon, bacon on bacon and cheese. You can add some mustard since I don't eat ketchup and some MOAR BACON.

Haven't made much progress on Episode 2, everyone that I know of has completed hard mode already. No hurries on that since I'm working Kaori's ass to LV200 in order to Rebirth. What's this? Repetition of leveling again, grinding out the same mission and all that jazz?! Sounds like a damn chore but it's okay!

To be honest, I thought that purchasing this game wouldn't be worth my time on the first day; felt boring and there's many things to nit-pick about. The boring part would lay the line on how it's just PSPo2 with extras. Fast forward a few days and in my humble opinion, I've realized that it's not so bad if you're not playing a Dewman. They're alright when it comes to downing bosses but when you die, you die a lot despite being great at evasive maneuvers (rolling) and deflecting attacks of butt hurt poking (blocking).

Thought I'd start off the game playing Typestatic but due to all the problems and stuff mentioned above, Kaori became my main again to kick ass and chew bubblegum alongside Horatio Caine of CSI Miami...

Decided to swap over to Force and give Magashi's Eradication a try. I've only finished it a few times but the reason why I gave up was due to how long it is to run as a Braver, Ranger or Hunter. Keeping in mind that my ability, equips, tiredness and short attention span were a problem. It's superior in terms of given EXP for one run, with the EXP boost abilities it helps by tenfold. Not exactly but every little helps!

Magashi is so easy to kill and will poop something out from his butt if boosted, ugh... however, if you get S rank for finishing the mission (LV165 requirement IIRC) 8XX mission points will be awarded and that makes everyone a winner. Dying ain't much of a problem once you've gotten the hang of it, doing this over and over (farm mode) does kinda burn you out so switch it up when you can for pleasure.

Glorious!! A sealed Kokuintou Houzuki with 60% Dark attribute has appeared before my inventory. Haven't reached 10,000 kills for the non attribute reward of this, though killing 2000 to unseal the sword would be worthy of try. Due to the faster swing of swords in this game, being me they're quite tolerable to use and definitely hefty for taking out bosses. They're not in my favor of using unless I'm active as a Hunter, the LV30 PA's can slaughter buckets of KFC mercilessly without any finger licking.

Pangya! Would be glorious if they had golf sticks in game unless I'm unaware of any so far. Guess the only way to get would be via DLC but when there's a willing, there's a payment for pixels or micro-transactions. I mean it would be worth purchasing, admitting that I am of such a whore for them things and stuffs. You know, mini-games in Infinity would be win especially at the lobbies. The Casino from PSU is dearly missed, use to idle there most of the nights during the time I played so why not include something like that? Instead of joining the main lobby, join the Casino lobby instead (dreamy dream).

Ran into Heaven's Mother on an infinity mission, surprisingly fun knowing that she's possible to OHKO you with the heaven punisher! Oh wait that's a drop in PSO, then again it does what it says on the tin. Let's just say she doesn't take you for Grants'ed *shifty eyes* Never played PSZ so this came off as something cool. Was going to create a video showing the encounter but I've decided to scrap that.

Which reminds me to talk about standards. Due to the fact that I've gone for something different in the videos I upload, it's expected that I am to continue with it to avoid disappointment. That or I'm being hard on myself! It is my channel so I upload what I want and if you don't like it then that's great; feedback is always sexy time in my books, whether the comments be good or bad. Anything is always welcome.

Resorting to gameplay videos might be the case again until I've fully integrated into the game, just like how it was when I first started PSPo2. The above picture states 'Kamen Rider?!' because I want to create a video based on that. It's my favorite show OF ALL TIME and it deserves some of my treatment into Phantasy Star. It's currently in the works though it would take some time, will have to CLOCK UP!

To conclude my long arse post, brought to you by procrastination in a settlement of a thousand cows. Since the release of Infinity I've gone from LV158 to LV171 as I type, Magashi's Eradication is on farm mode till LV200. Story mode will be done before Rebirth, both normal and hard mode. Despite mentions of a video being released this month, I'll postpone till further notice so my apologies. Over and out~

Infrastructure Impressions

My thoughts are nothing more but in awe after experiencing infrastructure mode. The lobby function certainly slaps me some nostalgia and idling will be part of my game routine, will reside in UNI1 SKY10.

The announcement of on-line codes for the demo certainly caused an uproar. Eager players like myself and others were expecting it to release at 12AM JST; ended up refreshing PSN for the next 12 hours and all we saw was DISSIDIA FOR 300 YEN. The announcement of FF13-2 made me die inside too ;;

Anyway, they weren't released till PSN was updated in the afternoon but at long last, code GET and off away to a random lobby. All functions available are of great convenience; pop into the PSN store via the lobby counter, search friends through lobbies and rooms or wherever they roam to taking photos. I find it funny that you can hear others take screen captures, most noticeably during a boss fight which is resulting in failure. All in all, it's great fun which feels complete. This is definitely an aspect of Phantasy Star which made it so damn fun, the on-line and community part of things.

Best thing about Infinity for me? Being able to use your alts as NPC's and being able to trade characters to anyone on-line; we don't feel so ronery with friends running among us as we play solo as meat shields. Will have to set my own auto-replies for that spice of npc life, I'm sure those that I play with would appreciate that. This also means that I'm capable of creating story driven videos similar to De;Synchronization without the need to use friends. Will await other features in the game next month.

My Dewman is currently LV82/RA13, main reason for playing her is due to the ranger infinity blast. A dragon killer by all means necessary, one hell of a Mikuru Beam and it certainly reminds me of Ryu's (TvC, MvC) type hadoken specials. Coupling this will the Wild Blast ability wreaks havoc, tasty indeed.

Will lay it down many times for my readers, I'm one to not fuss about stats or anything to do with the comparison of races but I will mention this; getting killed has never been such a chore for a Dewman. Guess the Escape Master ability for the use of two scape dolls was increased due to this and well, for those who struggled with just the one in vanilla (PSPo2).

Guess that's all to it for the demo now, just a case of levelling up solo or with friends on-line. In terms of progress, I should have played vanilla a bit more for the completion side of things. The wait won't be long so this would give me time to work on my alts. Yeah... Ricardo's butt is one hell of an eye magnet.

Charge Shot II Video Showcase

Supposed to have posted this here after uploading but I ended up in a hurry to leave the house, there are places to go with so little time especially when you stayed up the whole night. All nighters are great and if it's to get on down with work, then work is all that you will do! Will be lazy with this post since the video is self explanatory, gonna copy/paste what I said on the PSO-World and Sega forums below.

Here's a short video project started two days ago which showcases 'Charge Shot 2' for all available ranged weapons apart from R-Mags. Although there are videos regarding this already on the internet I thought I'd give it that extra something something. All captured footage is taken from the Infinity demo.

Not sure what video I would bring out next... if it's informal then it would probably be Duman Infinity Blasts or high level technics parts 2 with the six new spells. At the time being my activities will be broadcasted on the typestream, which is available to view by pressing the streaming button above or by heading over to http://www.justin.tv/typestream for archived recordings which last up to a week.

Charge Shot II video in the works!

Hey everyone, first post for 2011 and about time. Back into the swing of things with the PSP2i demo; apart from the livestream of my Dewman progression/grind I'm in the process of making a new video.
This will be informal (visually) like the TECHNICs video I did a few months back, only to display the new Charge Shot 2 animations for all ranged weapons. Working this against a deadline so expect it up soon.

Will be updating my twitter more frequently now so that I can actually keep track of the progress, if not anything else that's blog related. Right, back to work and it's gonna be a long night of footage capture.

Jag, Bull and Bear Syndrome

It's been a while since I've slept properly, still up finalizing this post while I chat and learn the dance routine to Perfume's 'ねえ' PV which is so awesome. Taking care of two cats now; Kaori and Shiori who are such a big help for occupying the smaller mobs when we're pitched up against the boss. Three isn't considered a crowd here, wouldn't mind taking 'Poogie' the pig along in missions either hehe.

What I've currently got equipped is the Jaggi armor set; fully decorated to provide Attack UP (Medium) and Recovery+2 which helps towards regaining your 'red' health back from attacks. Also Capture Guru which notifies me when the monster is possible for capture (once painted). This is much different to the stats that are given with the Monster Hunter Tri Jaggi Armour but no complaints, this is such a good set to have early on in the game providing that you have at least one slot in your weapon to achieve it.

Recording habits have kick started off again. These hunter vlogs don't need much editing or scripting compared to my more recent PSPo2 videos. Maybe I'll consider something more extravagant if my mind wishes to go there. For now they're all a mix and match of cuts, music and mainly for entertainment.

After failing Jinouga, I spent the whole day working on the two star village quests; hunting all available bosses along with 'kill xx amount of xx monsters'. Having done all of them and no gathering related runs I end up unlocking the urgent to hunt down a Kurupekko. It will feel my hammer of justice! This is where I'll be linking my MHTri demo video here for the third or forth time on this blog, awesome stuff~ Actually, I still have my first Monster Hunter Freedom 2 video somewhere so I'll find that for hilarity...

Will be out of town for Xmas and but I'll return by next week the latest. Any progress then would be updated and I hope to get some group missions recorded with voice; We laugh and swear so much.

OH MY CHERRY JINOUGA

MonHan monday happened earlier this week to celebrate some ad-hoc fun on MHP3. The amount of fun endured was priceless especially with the new onsen (bath) feature within the Guild Hall. That's right... Three chicks and one dude *gesture spam* along with a table full of drinks and snacks to aid the four of us throughout the night. Did I mention that it was an all nighter session with two trips to the nearest McDonalds for dinner and breakfast? I had a happy meal because that's how I roll, no cheese please~

Character creation, running around the village and then the start of missions. I think we started off with Bulldrome, Aoashira then some gathering here and there. Hunting Jaggi was the highlight of the night; not sure how many times we did it but the armour set for the rest of us was finished. Royal Ludroth gave us some troubles but we've managed to take it down twice, amazing ROFL's it did to the party.

Since then I've mostly concentrated on working the farm and village quests. My pace will be slowed down by the posts here but that's all fun in the making, not that I'm in a hurry to rank up and be super awesome anyway. With all MonHan games it's the patience, experience and definitely experience that counts, talk about something with a long winded learning curve. We'll also see a return of my video uploads on the 'Raedifeth' Youtube channel. They're not to be taken seriously and well, it should supplement these posts regarding the game. I'm such a visual bitch wahahaha *dances around town*

I guess this is one of the new elements of encounters within the game; a random special quest initiates after the main quest has been fulfilled. It's definitely compulsory after the 2 star village quest to hunt down Bulldrome since a friend pointed out his troubles "Jinouga is a TWAT!! I got owned, i dont think i was supposed to win anyway XD" Let's rewind and mention about Jinouga, he's the flagship monster of the game so it's no surprise to see it beat us down early on in the game. Same happened with Tigrex and Lagiacrus in the previous MH games but alas! It was a good way to analyse how it worked, going head to head with a hammer didn't feel right. Would love to try it again with a Gun/Lance or a BowGun.

The music escalated to something that's surprisingly eerie once the 'WARNING' appears on screen. Seeing that the time of mission was at night it definitely gave that scary feeling, yeah I'm such a wuss. You're given the choice to abandon mission (without failing the main mission) or take up the conflict. Extra supplies are given from the box then but that wasn't enough to keep me alive. Carrying mega potions and combinable stuff would have but it wasn't the right time to take it down, let alone trying.

Should be getting my second cat once I can find one that suits my preferences, in the meantime it's back to the daily grind of farming, hunting and bathing. Like posts like this? The Winter Hunt Begins!

Monster Hunter Freedom Unite is back in the UMD drive and I've been sorting out my inventory of items and equipment. When playing solo I'd usually plan, mix and match gear to create something that's both visually and status beneficial; the Kirin/Gravios U/Z set being my bread and butter for everything that requires brawling. Still finishing up on clearing the Chief/Nekoht's quests along with the Guild hall remainders but it's all good. Guess it's because I'm awaiting to play with my friends again next week, nothing beats 4-player ad-hoc with food and drinks on the side. Think I mention of this all the time because of the fun, especially if it's an all nighter with McD's breakfast to end the session.

You'll normally see Shiori wearing the following equipment; centre being casual wear for anything low rank or gathering to the Rathalos X gear on the right. Soloing as a gunner with a defensive cat can sure make things of ease, especially when you're out of paralysis shots or combinable flash bombs.

Shiori is in fact a kitchen chef, Chef de cuisine if you were to call it. When her cats are resting she can prepare the most astonishing meals known to the folks in Pokke Village. Seriously, for a portable game I'd say that this is my most dedicated one of them all. In fact the franchise is a damn troll, making me spend countless hours on manual labour and getting spankings from nature... it's awesome really!

As for the Portable 3rd demo; lush is all I can say since everything is so damn beautiful to look at. MHTri is the inferior version in terms of weapon abilities and thank cat swimming has been taken out. It's fun with a lance charge but anything more than that is just slow and unwelcoming in my messy pile, then again it's probably the bosses that did my head in.

Been catching up with the PSPo2i news that Ricardo has been posting and I've over creamed my pants, soiled to the point where I can soil no more. Anyway, I'm having the time of my life as of now; achievement unlocked for leaving to the real world. Less updates here but I'll put more effort into them.

Escape from the Audio Mess

Talk about inactivity, it's probably the phase that I'm going through; pre-occupied with the so called real life activities. December is one busy month due to events and meet ups that go on through till the new year. On the gaming side of things it's mostly Dead Rising 2 on the X360 and a cross over between Tekken 6 or Monster Hunter Freedom Unite on the PSP. Thanks to Yuber for the MH3rdPortable demo code too! My budget has been low to import anything let alone buy new pairs of knee high socks.

It's an ingenious idea but I'm currently using my PSP as a webcam. Currently rigged up to a desktop microphone tripod stand, powered in with the component cables out to the capture card. Plugged into the USB is a wire extension for the PSP camera (Chotto Shot) which resides on top of the PC monitor.

Hoping to purchase a new hard drive and more RAM early next year for my media endeavours *cough* INFINITY *cough*. Haven't been making videos at all since they're all filled up. There's more to that but I'll find a day to purge unwanted files. Who knows when I'll next post something up, there's too many backdated ones that need to be finished but I can't be asked. Now I'll find someone to blame for this!

Movember Choppin'

Been posting elsewhere on a more personal blog since November slapped my head full of frak. All is well, Kaori's been running free missions since the last update; Parum, Moatoob and Neudaiz are out of the way in terms of completion. All that's left is Clad-6 and a ton of client orders. Playing casually feels more refined, laid back and it's still fun yet I'm still in no hurry to get to LV200. What's more important for me are the type levels, anything after LV15 seems a damn drag but that'll gradually work its way up.

Gemaga will still reign > all in terms of steady exp and mp. Did a few to reach Braver 30 and being blessed with 15% rare drop from Sako, the reward screen kicked me with a Tsumikiri-Omote. No plans on extending this because I have no extend codes, well a high level dagger would benefit my C runs in terms of downtime with the Hikai Shuha-san PA. Combine that with a Milla for range and minuscule HP regen, not that it's necessary but I like it. Look, the dagger's filled with a tasty neutral element om nom.

Checking the page views it seems like I'll be working on Kaori's profile page next, this would be similar to the partner card with details and stuff but with a more personal approach. Artwork and a back story for her existence in Gurhal. Those that play this game love their own characters, we all know it <3

Returning to Clad-6 when I can

Those who come here to check the PSPo2 coverage, I feel like I've let you down. No worries, picked up on it again and will be playing it casually. If there's anything worth shouting about then you can look no further than here, whenever that happens. GOD EATER was played heavily, enjoyed it but anything to do with progress just didn't seem as fun as PSPo2. Will scrap that and think of something better, lol.

Crazy Sleeping Hours

Think I best be getting into the habit of posting again. Something was missing, not posting here would be it. There's much to show and tell just that I don't know where to start; best do it one at a time like how I enjoy my beverages. Watching a lot of Japanese TV and event streams have been a blast too.

Before I finish this post off, the MCM Expo for London will be happening on the 29th-31st at the end of this month. Don't think I posted about it during May and I'm unsure on which day I'll be heading there. My friend's band Esprit D'Air will be performing on Friday and other friends will be going on the Saturday. There will also be a BlazBlue CS booth featuring a Guiness World Record attempt, an open tournament and prizes for BB cosplayers. Not sure if I'll even go but that would be a last minute decision, real talk.

Great news, the El Shaddai TGS trailer has gained mad hype over the past three weeks on nicovideo. The amount of MADS created have been a bliss to watch, one favourite being Shaddai Circulation, lol. Another video that has been gaining a load of points on nico would be the live action version, featuring stylish toothpicks. Nicely done if I was to say myself, funny how damn similar it is when compared.

Took the Midnight Train Going Anywhere

Activity on Phantasy Star Portable 2 has come to a halt, I feel that there's nothing more to accomplish. Cap level isn't much of a great deal to me, mindlessly farming out Magashi isn't something I'd bother with either. Stopped at 100 Dragon runs; codes became non-existent in my books and settled with the use of 16 boosters instead. Will eventually pick up on this game again nearing the release of Infinity in Feb.

For the time being I'll be finishing up on a few posts, getting round to doing the GOD EATER video along with some doodles. Sadly, Idolmaster, SC2 and Recettear have been taking my time up - Capitalism, Ho!

HYPER JAPAN 2010 #2

Here's another event that took place over the weekend in London. In my humble opinion, HYPER JAPAN is the first fully fledged Japanese culture event to be quite a success here, others such as JapanEx didn't convince me enough. Didn't take many photos since I was busy with a majority of the stalls there.

Good Smile Company's appearance was the main highlight for me. I'm guessing that this was brought over due to the Black Rock Shooter 2010 Summer Campaign, all which started at the 2010 Wonfest.

Nendoroids were on display but only B★RS was for sale. On the right we see the B★RS 1/8 models; Animation and Black Blade versions. Below that is the B★RS Nendoroid Plush and Rock Cannon charm.

The Dead Master Figma should be available nearing the end of October. Not sure if I'll be getting that but purchasing the B★RS Figma was a must. The 1/8's are Original versions based on Huke's illustrations.

Evangelion Store! Something's not right, it wasn't really a store but two/three shelves full of overpriced merchandise. The cost of three t-shirts would have got you one of the t-shirts pictured above *shock*

JP-BOOKS who are situated in the UK had a lot of goods on sale. From magazines, calendars, mangas to a hefty collection of anime/game art-books such as Shigenori Soejima's Art Works 2004-2010; Art director for the Persona games. Did some browsing here but I had tempted myself from getting any.
Square-Enix EU were showcasing quite a few goods too, nicely displayed with figures from DMC, KH, Bayonetta, FMA, Final Fantasy and Resident Evil. There were more goods but I didn't pay attention.

Nicovideo were broadcasting live from the event, consisting of two to three streams for each day. Not a lot of people knew about it so they handed out leaflets explaining the service. My jaw literally dropped upon hearing of their presence, which is why I resorted to such acts with a towel *posted previously*

In answer to the "How did you manage to get footage off the stream?" question I've been getting -
Being a premium Nicovideo user allows use of the 'time-shift' feature. Activating this will allow you to watch any of the recorded streams for one session only. Therefore I cannot grab anything else from the event, sorry! Do note that all live broadcasts are saved to their servers for a week before they're taken off. Do note, the premium service is not free and will require payments via card or webmoney.

WAGASHI sold their lovely ice cream and pancakes there for such a decent price. Most of it was gone on the day I went; the selection was green tea, black sesame, vanilla and red bean flavours OM NOM

Vermont Curry gave out free tasters, who would say no to that? Free food is free food and it was delicious. They gave out leaflets for the products and their own 'How to make Curry' help sheet.

Milky Holmes performed live on stage during the afternoon, this was the time I got into the venue. Suzuki, Sora,Mikoi and Izumi were interviewed on the nico live broadcast along with a photo session by the Bushiroad booth. Most of their goods (card decks) and such were 'Not for Sale' *shakes fist*

That's all that I could cover for Hyper Japan 2010. Can't forget the Sake tasters (MOE SELLS), eating Umaibou and hopping from one stall to another. Next up will be a post about the BRS goods purchased.

EUROGAMER 2010

Attending the EUROGAMER EXPO wasn't on my schedule for the weekend. However, a cousin's friend pulled out at the last minute so I decided to take up on the offer. The venue this year is much bigger than the year before, it's the UK's biggest video games expo to date. You can imagine it as a small E3 or TGS with no announcements, just games to try out along with conferences and an industry section.

Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood was all over the place. Both PS3/360 versions were available to play, each console hooked up for multi-player with a time limit on session. The game wasn't competitive but more of a mind f*ck since you're given targets (players) to assassinate, only to find out that they too look like civilians and are possibly after you. Best way to sum it up would be 'hide and seek' and 'tag' for sinister minds. Depending on what character you choose you're given a different set of skills to use, like a pre-set perk system. Demo was fun from what I played, probably better once it's released.

Gears of War 3 was in the over 18's section along with Killzone 3, Dead Space 2, Crysis 2, Dragon Age 2, Bulletstorm, Medal of Honor and other games. Notice how it's mostly FPS, something that I've gotten out of lately. Didn't try anything here since it was ram packed, queues were crazy for most of the games so the 'overpriced' cafe just like at any convention got a visit from me. Vanquish was over in the main hall, sadly it wasn't multi-player but the single-player demo that's obtainable via PSN/XBL.

Rock Band 3 had five screens, one being for group performance while another had the Pro Guitar on for try. Won't go into much detail but it's just a midi-guitar for Rock Band allowing you to play/learn the guitar with the game. Slap bang in the center they had a few Gran Turismo 5 set-ups, wouldn't mind having this in my room. GT5 was also available to play in 3D, though it doesn't change my opinion on the whole 3D thing. Sure it was visually impressive but not necessary needed, nice but no thank you.

BRINK had the biggest line throughout the whole day, wait it's another FPS game so forget that. I'll move onto Castlevania instead, now that's impressive. Haven't played any of games since the Game Boy version but I've been blown away with this demo. Whipping action at it's finest since elements of GOW and Shadow of the Colossus are to be seen. The ice-titan boss encounter was damn fun to watch too.

Nvidia showcased their 3D Vision on a few rigs around the back, tried out Starcraft 2 with the set-up and again, nothing special about it. I wouldn't dare spend that much on such a graphics card and monitor. There were many groups playing LittleBigPlanet 2, I don't have the slight bit of interest in this game, nor did I for Fable 3, Fifa 2011, Def Jam Rapstar and other titles around there. Nothing portable was available to play apart from the NDS titles, last year they had a PSP Go section but that failed.

Super transition to Nintendo! Their E3 announcement was the best, bringing back the games we love for this generation. Donkey Kong Country Returns, Goldeneye and Kirby's Epic Yarn were playable.

Biggest surprise was seeing 'The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword' being playable. It was hidden in a small tent of some sort, having a queue formed around the back of the Nintendo section. Couldn't see anything and didn't have the patience to wait. Alas, more Wii/NDS games were available to play too.

Playstation Move - Basically a wii-mote for the PS3. The games didn't look one bit interesting and it's nothing new. Microsoft's Kinect for the 360 - Make yourself look like an idiot but feel good while dancing, driving and playing volleyball. Kinect feels more superior but it's too damn expensive...

Lined up to see Jonathan Jacques Belletete (Art Director, Eidos) for the upcoming Deus Ex: Human Revolution. I'm a fan of the first game but wasn't asked to check out anything regarding the second or latest one, but that turned out to be a good thing. The conference was really fun, a lot of things were explained regarding story and gameplay. Ended up getting nerdgasms/nostalgia due to the game music.

Definitely a must purchase unlike id Software's RAGE, the last conference of the day. I ended up RAGE-ing over the whole presentation. Boring, boring and boring. If you're willing to check out this post-apocalyptic FPS, it's basically Borderlands with intense graphics. Tim Willits had even ignored the Borderlands related question and said RAGE was unique in many ways, it's not but that's my opinion.

Met up with some friends on the day too, discussions went down and hilarity ensued with games. That reminds me, the only freebie I got was a RAGE t-shirt while lining up for the conference, such a shame about the game/shirt design. EUROGAMER EXPO will be back next year, let's see how it'll turn out then!

I'll see it as a giant weeaboo gathering however, there's more to it than that so it looks like I'll be attending later today. Goodsmile Company will be appearing along with many stalls, Evangelion goodies to Square-Enix. About Nicovideo, they'll be broadcasting from their booth at specific times. Got something lined up for this month which will focus on Namco's GOD EATER. I've played a few missions and have decided to go ahead with coverage, something similar to PSP2. Whether or not I stick to this game will depend on how progress goes. This involves adjustment to the game controls, pacing and difficulty which, shouldn't be a problem due to years of playing Monster Hunter. Going against bosses while getting knocked unconscious several times during the process sounds like fun.

It's Kaori's time to be an 'ODD EATER' and devour delicious treats, all shapes and sizes om nom nom.

Regarding self given rules - Cannot watch 'how to' videos on missions, lurk/participate in forums for help and hints. Everything will be learnt in-game for the sake of it, no matter how long it takes. Also, I'm really bad with kanji... this game has a lot of it *urgh* so I'll be taking notes alongside to fix up on my Japanese. Quite aware of the 'English Patch' available for those using CFW but will have to pass on that. Expect videos on specific missions, screen captures to a rant here and there for self observation.

All in a Day's Dump

Due to my lack of self discipline, tidying my room has been 'work in progress' over the past month(s)... Made some progress on it today, took out several bags of trash which consisted of school books, unwanted bills/notes and 'wanted' goods which I had to retrieve from the dumpster. Hopefully I can get extra shelves up at the end of the week, a majority of my models/gundam have been all over the place.

Got sidetracked with all the stuff done today; ended up adding a SC2 logo to the back of my PSP3000, patched up the other two and fixed the broken memory stick. Talk about being productive, it's at an all time high! Lastly, been thinking about new projects. Will post them up at some point (non PSP2 related).

Fall 2010 anime will be starting in just under two weeks, make it a weeks time or so. There's a few to watch on my list, more than what aired over the summer. Going to mention Toaru Majutsu no Index II because although I enjoyed the first season, the crossover with Railgun was pure bliss. Hope to see more of Mikoto/Kuroko in the coming episodes of Index; out of the two, I prefer Kuroko... *fat grin*

Now for 'A Certain Specific collaboration' mentioned on the GOD EATER Blog/Hachimakikou/Siliconera. This got me excited for the upcoming game that is released next month. Didn't play much of the first but there's no harm in giving it another go. Crossover and collaborations really do sell it for me *shakes fist*

I'm a Mikoto clone, sporting the 'Tokiwadai' school uniform and goggles to track ~~electrons~~ Aragami...

Upcoming PSP games are astonishing, shame that I can't afford it all. Fear not, going to ebay a few goods to donate towards the releases. Think I'll make a list at some point since I keep going on about it. K-On! is definitely on the list for several reasons, an alternative for my Project Diva/DJ Max Portable.

Despite the recent US/EU release of PSP2, I've made the choice to concentrate on the JP side of things. Consider it as preparation for 'Infinity' when that releases next year. Sure it's a few months away but I want to reach max level for at least one character. Therefore, the hunt for Photon Codes have begun! 5 down and 20 to go for the Guld-Milla. They're a b*tch to farm due to the low GET rate but this will add to the motivational drive of things. Speaking of which, 'dedbaux' Lolitron has slain over 300 dragons to get the codes. Let's see if I can pull it off, hoping to collect a few T-Yasminkov2KH along the grind too.

Rapico tweeted away regarding the preview of PSP2i's opening intro and a discussion with Dragon Sakai a few hours ago. This was to be shown via nicodouga live-stream around 18:50 (Japan time).
I wouldn't have caught this if I didn't stay awake to play Monster Hunter Tri, it's now 1PM *facepalm*

The Song is called 'Ignite Infinity' and I love it, a much better song than 'Living Universe' in my opinion. Though I'd like it if Mizuki Nana was to do a song for the game too, something extra on the side for fans.

I got really pumped for this, the 10 minute countdown was too long to bare. Previews of the new Castlevania game were shown first but the main highlight for me... Phantasy Star Portable 2 Infinity!

'Dragon Sakai' explained about the PS series, what the Portable series offers along with collaborations for PSP2i, weapon design contest and so forth. The intro was shown near the end of his interview.

No game footage was available, though we're all expecting more to be announced at TGS next week.

Caught up in a lot of things so I haven't had the time to sit down properly and finish a post, come up with something creative or get enough rest for my health. Lately I've been making the most out of Summer before the Autumn season kicks in, though the wind has been nice recently here in London.

Kaori reached level 150 last night, took a short break before that and the Magashi runs have been rather helpful. Yuber and Ami are to mention for the 'Big Push', 'JUMP' and a few rare missions.

Haven't touched any other games apart from MHFU (Monster Hunter Freedom Unite) which I play with RL friends. It's fun starting over again from HR9, not to mention the intense screams and laughs during ad-hoc mode. Whether your outdoors, at someone's BBQ or even when you commute.

Saw Scott Pilgrim over the weekend with a few friends and we were in hysterics. Best experience I've had in a cinema other than the Evangelion films shown back to back. Definitely have to see it again, probably another two or three times since it's awesome and on a bigger screen.

Huge distractions would be Kamen Rider!! Been catching up with the Kiva and W series, though I've been rewatching some DEN-O and will make a start on Faiz if I can. Kirihiko was such a man, man.

Would be nice if I could really pull this off in game... Yeah, I'm not fond of Accel.

Speaking of which; Phantasy Star Portable 2 Infinity!! The expansion that will probably blow my nuts off. Mizuki Nana will be voicing 'Nagisa' and I sense what type of character she will be. Ordered the famitsu magazine stating the news alongside with the one after, which contains MHP3rd goodness.

Will post something more in-depth when I've managed to get some rest, the event was awesome.

I had to do some photography work during the finals; from 12pm onwards till 1am! It sucked because my SLR was lame, not to mention that I was somewhat nervous. After a few hours I gotten use to moving around the stage, taking close-ups and asking the finalists to pose before their game started.

Touhou arrangements are delicious especially from the recent Comiket 78; it's all that I've been listening to over the past two years or so... that and VOCALOID. SOUND HOLIC doesn't disappoint and due to this I shall link something that's worth the listen. Credits to aghart101 and his decent choice of uploads.

In regards to the album 'SOUND HOLIC feat. 709sec. - Endless Seeker' it's refreshingly good in terms of track listing; the vocals collaborate so well with the instruments and vice versa. Personally I'm not hot on male vocals for arrangements (apart from COOL&CREATE's beatMARIO) but 70sec's imo is decent. Majority of tracks are upbeat with some sort of Western influence, dare I mention some Lady Gaga?! Oh, Nomiya is in this album performing '真夜中★スカイダイブ' and for that I'm in awe, yeah I'm a fan ^^

Over 700 hours and counting, this game sure is worthy of investment for the PSP. Infrastructure Mode wins hands down since playing with others is a must. I've met a decent bunch who I consider as amazing e-friends, shame that they don't live close by since that would be of a different story.

I've removed myself from the psow community/forums for several reasons; pricks, elitists and people who are so freakin' stupid. Sure you'll find them everywhere but the ones encountered there are the worst I've come across. US gaming forums in general since it's all rage, resulting in sidetracked threads that contain countless pages due to one person's opinion. Another thing is, do people read at all? Why do people tell you to do things their way with some sort of aggression, a high and mighty attitude. Mind you, I have moderated a few forums in the past and learnt that a small, tight community works best. Should have stayed a lurker regardless, even my type of trolling ain't worth the hassle.

Real life complications have caught up to me again. I'm to the point where I'll have to decide whether or not to drop what I currently have and move on, progress! Casual seems the right word to use, for PSPo2 and games in general.

I'm wanting to make more videos but I can't due to the current one in progress. Therefore I've toned down on ideas to keep it simple, ensuring a quicker release which should be later this week. Will state what's needed so I can keep myself focused, otherwise I'll be distracted ;;

I've scrapped the After Effects work (masking) since it's very, very time consuming. I will however use what I've learnt over the past few days and do it for one of my free mission videos.

After getting Saunria's footage everything was done. The finalizations were to add some extras.

Youtube shouldn't let me down due to the earlier video encodes, after that I'll be posting it to PSOW and probably the SEGA forums for some attention. Since the Western release is soon this should spoil for those that wait. Since my first video upload back in March, it was just standard game play. I've made improvement since and it will stay that way, incorporating music and other goods.

Bone Crushing MAXIV S

Haven't had much time on PSPo2 lately but I managed to do a MAXIV S run with Keiji and Yuber a few nights ago. It's still risky at my level and to be honest, with one or two adjustments we probably would have finished the whole thing. Ability points were dedicated to my own safety and healing, along with defensive attachments to my line shield. One thing I didn't think about were resists; being stunned and frozen are the main concerns for this run, one or two hits will take me out instantly.

With that mentioned, relying on others to use a Sol Atomizer would take some time. They're already busy with the damage dealing and their own safety. Maybe a 4th party member would have helped out, then again it's all for yourself when it comes to this game... more or less anyway.

My MMO experience as a 'healer' doesn't apply here since PSPo2 isn't one, nor does it have a system which offers healing to be more convenient for the party; having a heal over time spell would be nice or a temporary shield cast to party members. I'm using grants now, happy? They remind me of the ION Cannon from Command and Conqueror http://youtu.be/WSiNflPkSgE Not as destructive however! That's another reason to level my FO class.

Ardites bring the pain here, they're like Zangief; cyclone punch and body slams. Got frozen here and the resta/reverser came a second late. All is good though, will work with the others on doing more MAX runs, either A or S because it's good to nail missions flawlessly. Maybe for A but not for S rank!

WTB Green Screen

Haven't been in a good mood lately, something's bugging the crap outta me and my anxiety is acting up again. Think I'll make a bacon sandwich (with no cheese) after this post to set my mind straight. You can't work on an empty stomach in the morning, will need a black coffee to go with that too.

I was suppose to finish the video in a week, that didn't happen. Think of it as the late supplement update for PSU360, which should see the light later this month. Video transitions are done but the thing that's holding back on completion is the intro. I'm going all out with editing software for this.

This is what I'm hoping to have, character on the left/right along with video running behind them. Think of the back being a green screen without the green screen. Would be nice if they offered a program similar to the WoW model viewer, making machinima would be much easier this way but manual labour will do. I'll be using After Effects for the time consuming 'frame by frame' masking.

Currently working with 25 frames for GJARE's character animation; that's a lot of click and drag adjustment which should take some time. Shifting this to Premiere afterwards for the title work.

I've been hyping since the start of the finals from 6:20PM to 6:44AM (GMT) the next day. This is a first for me; had excitement throughout the whole event and I even managed to have my 3 meals, shower and some healthy gaming on the side. It's a shame that the stream cut out on the final round for Daigo and Ortiz (Over 120,000 viewers). The servers couldn't handle the hype, not even myself! They announced an EVO for Japan in September so let's hope that gets streamed then.

Team Fortress 2, it's something I go back to every now and then for harmless yet frantic 'overnight enjoyment'. Remember, image puns will do the world a greater deal if used correctly (see below).

The servers that I play on is over at http://www.ukcs.net/ and by far it's one of the best STEAM communities out there. I've been with UKCS for a few years since CS 1.6, a cousin recommended it and I can't thank him enough for the good times. Mind you, PC > Console communities for a fact.

Ami's Photo Shoot

Meet Ami, she's an activist within the Communion of Gurhal, Hyuga's waifu and excels in extreme hand to hand combat. She's also my first PSPo2 infrastructure buddy, too lazy to check up on archives but it was a while ago and even till now she's still sporting the lovely Guardians uniform.

The recording session lasted around twenty minutes, most of the time we were running around Sakura Blast trying to find a decent spot. When we did it was the usual; have the so called 'model' stand still while I get several camera angles. I'd have to sit sometimes but up-skirt isn't a problem!

Falcon Kick! With weapons of choice I get her to spam out PA's like how GJARE did for the video. Dual Dagger PA's amazes me due to insane flips, twirls and a lot of airtime with the animations.

Especially with this generous fart that she let off, immense rear power as expected and enough to cause twice the amount of blossoms to fall. This doesn't harm Neudaiz in any way so no worries!

Unsealed and ready to go. With my ignorance of many things within the 'Phantasy Star Universe' I have a hard time remembering weapons, monsters and other stuff. I think this is A SWORD!!!

Two down and one to go! Then again there's myself to record as well, which will be a little trickier in terms of angles but I'll manage somehow. As for the video, more progress has been made; the music transitions are perfect now so I'll just have to match up the scenes to sync with the beat. It's taken much longer than predicted but no hurries, it'll be out before the end of the month! *motivational slap*

Turns out that I require more footage in order to continue and finalize the video. In my DRRR!! inspired intro for the MAXIII video, everyone liked the character introductions so I'm going to take it further on this. Deciding on a borderline PSO and BlazBlue style transition, which is kinda hard to explain now.

Managed to catch GJ/Untan on earlier today and I asked him to get on-line to 'model' for me. He was hesitant until I explained why. You know, having the default human male character for looks is funny. Everyone would customize their looks right? Not in his case, he says that it's awesome... I think.

Chosen place for the recording was in Dragon's cave, near the back where you could find an unusable entrance/exit. It could have been elsewhere but this will do. Ignore my HP since I literally had nothing on kaori, sorting out your common box has it's drawbacks, that or I'm just forgetful.

It took under five minutes to capture what I needed. With that out of the way I still have two of the participants to go; Ami and Loli. They'll both be doing the same thing, with a stage of their choosing.

Henshin! Beast ON!!

It's too hot to work on the PC! Instead I've been chilling out with other stuff. One would be a restart on the original Phantasy Star Portable! Upon a few hours of play it certainly kicked in that PSU nostalgia for me; it's been two/three years since I've played on the 360 servers so that probably explains why.

The transition to PSPo2 sure makes it something new and exciting. Now I'm realising that going back to enjoy something older has it's sentimental values here and there... The music in Parum upon entering, being unable to block which wasn't a problem back then and the original PSU cheese.

Back to PSPo2, I had a fun alt run earlier with Amy, Leon and Yuber. Fun because we all had different roles to our main characters. I certainly have grown fond of my beast, same with the others and their new alternatives to play-style. Something happened in one of our runs (was recorded).

It involved transformation but you'll see the uploaded video once I've finished on the current project (mentioned a few posts earlier). The weather has cooled down therefore, it will be completed over the next few days. Hold on to your butts! Or as we like to say here in the UK - 'arse'.

Last image was taken when Reo joined the usual party about a month ago, if not less. Didn't manage to post this due to several circumstances but here it is! Now, I must feed my sugar cravings hehehe.

Visionary Forest (Videos)

The Next few days will be busy so I'll be pushing the deadline forward a few days. 70% progress has been done so far. Here's a sneak peek at what to expect (incomplete).

As you can see I've done some of my own work, capturing the surroundings down to the Phantasy Star Portable 2 title. The mission is based off PSO's forest so why not, other ideas had struck me down during the progress but I'll mention that in another post.

Will decide whether the final upload would be worth posting on forums regarding Phantasy Star Portable 2. It's coming out soon and I just want to show them how fun it can be, the PSO nostalgia is a plus too now that I think about it; possible series of PSO on PSPo2 videos?

In other news, I've been farming out for Dam.Grants to 'shoop da woop' whenever I use my force class. Still no luck but I got lucky with a 13* drop, and that drop is a hiryujiteri. Shame about the element, will see if I can get a neutral or light element.

Visionary Forest

Nearly a month since I've posted a PSPo2 video, mind you there haven't been any new missions to run. However, since the update we've all been doing 焔帝の猛攻 (PSO Forest mission) for those Codes and Boosters. With seven runs recorded and encoded, the work has started on the editing.

When I do a project like this I get better; improvements, quality and yeah... it'll be better than previous releases. This shouldn't disappoint since the hours spent doing storyboards and BGM searching somewhat paid off. Giving myself a deadline for completion over the weekend so watch this space.

Bruce and Lou's Little Big Snow Adventure

With the update kicking in today, new 'exchange mission' items have been added to Bruce's plethora of goods. He's relocated to somewhere much colder due to the summer heat, talk about being cool.

The requirements for the new items are hefty; mostly consisting of Photon codes, crystals and boosters. All we can do now is farm out missions that drop them, surprisingly everyone's up for it. Guld and Milla is probably the most wanted item along with Neo Lou's parts which is bliss.

Unlike DLC clothes, parts and weapons; everyone else can see what my character is wearing and I like that. Let's see what else Sakai can do for future apparel because they've all been well designed. Can't get enough of clothes/parts in this game... Aesthetics make my world go round, that and food!

Lastly, a new video will be in the works covering the 焔帝の猛攻 DL mission on S rank. This is the forest mission from PSO that is nice, simple and quick to do. Photon codes and boosters drop here so it's time to wind and grind 'DAT DORA...' Wait! Obligatory photo of Satoshi Sakai included below...

Penalties, PSU JP and the Claw

I'm not one that likes football but the world cup is worth a watch. It was such an intense match between Paraguay and Japan; both teams played so well and I enjoyed screaming at the TV in excitement. Extra time occurred due to no goals, then only to see Paraguay winning on penalties.

While this was going on, I ended up sitting myself in the lobby to enjoy the chatter. Everyone said they were feeling hot and very nervous. Finally screams of 'aaaaaaaa' and 'noooooo' seared throughout when the match was over. After that, the lobby resumed their chat about food ^-^;

I didn't mention that PSU JP was on my agenda. I'm playing this so that I can finish Episode 2 and most noticeably 3. Why not play it in English on the 360 servers where I can fully understand it? Well the community is one thing (if I were to party) but the main reason; story mode offers voice-overs for the speech scenes. It feels more interactive and quite like a visual novel, first witnessed in PSPo.

Had a discussion last night on chat where *insert person here* had problems with their PSP with an addition of complaints, highly regarding the control scheme of the game. Personally I don't find a problem with it but that's because I've had a PSP since release. Anyway, was asked to upload a photo of how I position my left hand and fingers when I play the game.

Your index finger does all the work! This includes shifting the camera left to right (via d-pad) since I dislike to centre the camera every turn. It's easy to hold down on the L button when you need to lock on the target too. While this happens your thumb stays on the analogue button to move the character. Your three fingers under the PSP has to be adjusted to comfort too. Sounds and looks like a pain to do but this is my best way to play for long hours.

PSP Official firmware 6.3 was released last night and later today, PSPo2 players shall set their hands on the new DLC which you can check out over at PSUBlog. Neo Lou's parts will be the one to get and for that I'll be farming out the Gemaga mission for Photon Boosters ._.

KotSR takes over

With the release of 'Knights of the Steel Rose' DLC I couldn't help purchase the uniform (parts) for my Cast. Only to then buy the uniform (clothes) for my Beast. Did I mention that I also purchased the Rifle and Twin handguns? Now I feel like there's a need to get the Saber... Oh the humanity!

I don't regret the purchases, the weapons are very decent in terms of design, bullet animation and stats. Completed a c-mode the same night just to get the extend codes for upgrading. Now that I think of it, c-mode is all that I've been doing with the PSPo2 chatroom but it's so fun.

Here's my Beast alt along with Leon's Beast alt, Beastly indeed! It's my first time being one since they didn't show much attraction in PSU, with PSPo2 however they can look really decent. Right, that concludes my PSPo2 post for today. I shall look forward to working on my Ranger class later.

A migration to Blogspot

A few things are clearly noticeable about this site now; including the migration from wordpress to blogspot. Things went smoothly when transferring the archives over. Looks like I'll have to make some format changes to previous posts.

Why blogger you ask? It's free and simple. Don't get me wrong, hosting your own wordpress is certainly better but having to pay for over 9000 the amount of space needed is unnecessary. Costs were low (godaddy.com) but lately I've been very strict with my budget. There are other free hosts like fc2, wordpress and even tumblr but I mainly wanted the customization.

Imperishable Intention will be the sub-name of the blog now. As much as I love Touhou, I will be replacing the banner with some dedicated PSPo2 fan-art in due time. Will continue to fix up the layout with some CSS to my liking too. For the time being, categories will be on the right side so for those wanting to browse the Phantasy Star posts, look no further than to your right, right!

Once the finishing touches have been done, I'll be resuming the usual posts unless this summer will be packed full of outings. With this heat and some memories from the US several years ago, I've ordered some kool-aid to make since I can't find them anywhere here in the UK... OH YEAH!!

Speedo moustache and the Phantom Ruins

I haven't had the time to post lately; been away from home with various activities but I've had time to play the game. That's one of the treats about it being portable! I'll leave this for a screen-shot dump, don't expect much.

When you are on vacation in Clad6, sometimes you just gotta go all the way to have fun.

WBMike and Yuber are actually models in real life, yet they do it better in game.

They were even hired to do a some wrestling scenes with Billy Herrington, however Yuber declined.

Gemaga, Rebellion of the Keep (video)

This is kaori's Gemaga download mission debut! At the time of mission release I wanted a video out but it was impossible for her. With all the training, martial-art films and an amazing protein diet, Kaori has grown stronger!! Judgement day has come to those who have knocked her out in the past. Apologies since I've scrapped the BlazBlue ideas, maybe next time!

Prepare yourself for a Streets of Rage influenced mission. Rated M for Manly.

Hot Fluge Sundae

The Gemaga DL mission can sure make me miserable from time to time and the reasons are obvious... Fighting Shizuru can be such a pain, it's either hit or miss since he'll take you out instantly or you're lucky enough to evade his deadly strikes. Also, successful runs tend to result in unsurprisingly lame drops (farm ON!) but it turns out that I had gotten lucky tonight.

The Exusia Fluge SUV had dropped for me after banging the crap out of Bruce's Cargo ship. Till now I've been using it's B-Rank counterpart; the Seraphim Fluge which you've witnessed in my MAX Event videos. This will help out so much since I'm still a healer/support class during infrastructure mode. Lastly, I've been thinking of posting a new FM video. A storyboard is in the works for an opening; the theme this time will relate to BlazBlue and it's amazing sound track so stay tuned.

Quiet progression

It's time to hit the treadmill, pump some weights, slap some rappies and go all out with the BR protein shakes! Working out and staying fit over summer will be something in mind. Also pursuing future opportunities in my dedicated field of interest is another. Not much has been happening within the scene of PSPo2. Even with the new challenge mode released earlier this week, imo it's not that fun. Being under pressure in a game sure doesn't get me going, connection problems too!

However, I've recently completed the story mode on Hard difficulty; with this done the shop unlocks default class outfits from PSO for characters to wear. About that... I have been playing a bit of PSO. Definitely will be taking my time with it since the story has me hooked, I mean to actually find out about the Nura sisters was a surprise to me.

What to expect next? Can't say for sure but I'll be taking it easy.

ACE R (JP) Release date announced

Mecha fans! 19/08/2010 will see the release of ACE R on the PS3 (JAPAN ONLY). This is big news for me since I've been a fan of the PS2 ACE games. What makes this series unique is the collaborations with several mecha anime, combined into an easy to digest action game with a decent storyline. Pilot mecha from Code Geass R2, Gundam, Macross F, and more.

Mid-term START!

Been on hiatus for a few days now, going out and about sure racks up on your spendings. The mid-term holidays have kicked in for the rest of us in the UK so updates will be from unfinished posts or none at all. Will be getting back to the usual routine once I've sorted out a few things, for now I shall rest and recover since being ill can really get me down.

Oh! I've playing PSU Episode 1 for a mind refreshment (2/3 years since I've completed it) and it has been fun. I even tweet my sessions whenever I start, encounter a good scene and when I stop. Playing off-line sure is lonely... haha.

Phantasy Star Portable 2 for EU/US

It's been announced a few days ago but I haven't been bothered to mention it here. Some readers don't check everything but I'm sure this will be new news to those who are interested in playing it! SEGA announces PSPo2 for the US/EU this fall.

Sega could have uploaded a better screen capture compared to the ones I take *shrug*

It's great news for those who have been holding off with the import. In the mean time you can chew on what I have to offer; depending how it goes with me and this game, I would still cover the JP events if they are to happen after release.

My biggest concern is the connectivity of servers. Whether it's going to be free-for-all i.e. allowing JP players to connect with both EU/US (PSU360 offers this due to it being on the X360 servers) or region locked to your specific continent.

Another thing I mentioned were the release dates for EU; Phantasy Star Portable and Phantasy Star Zero were released a few months after the US version. This could happen again, if so then I'm sure the servers will be region locked for infrastructure/on-line mode. Won't decide on anything yet as we'll get answers as the game nears release this fall.

Double Spoiler ~ LOLI 12.5

In this post there will be screen captures from a recent S run of MAX II. Even with the event over it's still fun to run the missions; going against monsters that are 70/80 levels higher than me is suicide! Anyway, I tagged along since I'm a dedicated group healer/buffer for infrastructure play. Even Rauna who was LV196 took a hard beating, the occasional OHKO would happen too. There are 20 screens in total (got lazy with them) and I'll provide my usual commentary for fun.

Prepare yourself for hard butt clenching, double the loli's and my favourite, explosions!

Maximum Attack Cross was my first event experienced on PSPo2. Taking part was a necessity as it pushed me to the limits of playing it daily whenever I could get on. Offering anything new is a must GET and the announcement of rewards available were tasty, this I could not resist. Events also bring people together like at slumber parties so you can expect many to be on during the time, more the merrier like they say. Before I continue, Kaori decided to cosplay as Hatsune Miku V2 for the S runs so consider that a treat for those VOCALOID fans out there. Personally I prefer the BRS stuff.

Due to the challenges it offered, this took gameplay to a new level for me. Sure it's just healing but there's more to that; keeping distance from enemies to being in distance of group members was a must. From watching my PP bar for emergency heals to timing buffs so that I don't risk any deaths... and that's the fun I get from being a healer.

This hallway smells death since its narrow, getting caught in-between two Svaltus would be unavoidable.
Judgement is the key to working out the attack range on them and I think I've nailed it.

Being a healer you need to be the centre of attention when looking after party members. MAXII and MAXIII has parts where the group would separate. If I'm not in range then let the potting commence! I mean you gotta grab some pills!

'HATERS GONNA HATE' so when in doubt, do a loli pose!

Infrastructure/Ad-hoc mode can offer character displacement at times. Basically you can get one character slashing
away at a wall when they are actually hitting an enemy. This happens to other games too so nothing to worry about.

I have no idea what's happening here but it gets bonus points for being flashy.

Would totally jump the shark here but they jump you instead!

EX traps are great for surprises, not that type of EX but the same thing applies:
If you're not on good terms, something destructive will happen when you see them for sure.

Once the four switches here have been set, monsters will jump right in where our EX Traps had been placed.
As we detonate, shit happens. Like when your ice cream scoop plops to the floor.

Loli's can also cause RAGE amongst people, I don't care because they're cute.
Shota's however... no comment.

Dulk Fakis demands that you feed him, what a baby. Noticed how he's always in a tantrum?
I don't want greens! (throws plate to the side) I want seconds! (slams his fists down)

It took us exactly 19 seconds to put him out of his misery... beautiful!

Eating a good curry can lead to excessive blow-outs from your butt. This will propel you into space too!

I think I've ran out of things to say. You see, running MAX missions constantly will cause severe exhaustion.
It gets tedious to the point where you don't want to do it any more, this is where the fun dies out.
Luckily we take breaks and go out to party, leaving us refreshed into running the mission a few more times.
A break is good...

Resuming the S Rank mission, I had my doubts on surviving any hits.
Sometimes I'll get lucky and will evade but his meteor attack will instantly take me out.

I don't heal much during this boss; with all of it done throughout the mission, this leaves everyone with enough healing items to survive. The occasional heal/buff will happen but I normally bomb the crap out of it when possible.

When he goes upside down, he'll be spinning right round like a record baby right round, round, round.

He'll also delay himself near the ground where we'd be able to give him a good beating.

Everything goes out with a big bang but will you start a staring contest at the sun?

It was intense for an S ranked run, hoping to try out the other missions seeing as people are in need of seeing Helga roaming around. Don't mind if I do! To summarize on my MAX experience, it was fun but too much will wear you out.

What's next on my agenda? I haven't got a single clue, probably alt character runs!

Waiting for my coffee to cool down as the morning weather hits off with a hint of summer. Had hoped on a quick release since the previous video was delayed. Good news though, I'm busy working on MAXIV as you can see in the capture.

In total, there's roughly 2 hours and 35 minutes to edit since I ran with five people; with the bonus area unlocked it's given me more to do. Not that I'm complaining, I find it more funnier when I want to include random BGM and sound effects. Especially an intro unlike most gaming videos which just offers gameplay. With a self given deadline, expect this on youtube any time this week... Unless I give into long sleeps, procrastination and going out with mates for fun times.

This is incomplete at the moment! The inking has not been done yet so it looks rough, like it’s been done in MS Paint. I had a lot of ideas when the sketch started, too many that I ended up going for a Kuroko’s armband grab ‘JUDGEMENT DESU NO’ pose. In this case ‘EXECUTOR’ replaces ‘JUDGEMENT’. Forgot to mention that she’s my favourite character in the Index/Railgun series, hence the minor similarities. Could call it a day with my creativity now, must do something else.

Wasn't sure what Category to put this under. Anyway, encoding videos can take a while so to keep the creativity flow going I ended up doing some fanart; Sketching loli's can be fun! If I can fully finish this image of kaori then I would consider doing a collage of the people that I play with (their own characters) into a promo poster, something like that.

Once I get the storyboard done for the MAXIV video I can work on editing the rest of the runs. Will mix and match the footage since the bonus area has been unlocked. Gonna prepare dinner, eat and get back to this as soon as possible.

Just finished a session on-line with ami, box and vorpal. We attempted MAXIV twice; failure on the first run but completion on second. It's enough footage to get me started so a video will be on the way sometime after this coming Wednesday. Consider this rare, I hardly post after playing since I'd pass out from fatigue but upon restarting I find this in my room.

Greetings anonymous! It's about time I got back here for an update. Things aren't looking to bright in real life but I'll rant about that over a drink or something. Speaking of drinks, chugging Sake while doing karaoke makes everything awesome! Judging by my tweet updates I've been on a roll with my sinus headache, outings, food and a controversial head shave which will be done after finishing this post. Anyway, let's get back to the Gurhal System for some Phantasy Star action.

MAXIV was released earlier this week but I haven't had time to record any footage. Seeing that I've just uploaded MAXIII it would be wise to chill out for some time. Will fix something up for next week once I've proposed some ideas for an intro. You know, since the event my body clock has adjusted itself from GMT to EST which is appropriate for partying YEAAAAH!

Kaori has acquired a new SUV, two in fact and this is one of them: ラファールアタッカー which provides you with two Gatling guns. I haven't tested the other SUV yet but I know it provides Jellen; healthy goodness for monsters around. Hoping to get more over time! Ascension Gift (video) is randomly given in an exchange mission so err... *face palm*

If I am to post up about C-MODO (Mode) then you'll probably be seeing a lot of these captures. What's C-MODO you ask? Challenge Mode! Where you aim to finish a string of stages from LV1 and get extend codes for tasty weapon upgrades.

I don't play male characters, think I mentioned this in a post earlier. However, when I do it brings out the hentai in me. The alternative sit pose offers a nice position in upskirt activity as you can see here with my alt character 牛丼 (Gyūdon) and ami's rendition of Karen. Well it's suppose to be her PSO character cosplaying as Karen. It's still Karen nonetheless.

Wow, where did this come from? Must be during a wait or something during one of the missions. It's Box's alt character; a cast maid if that makes sense. The underwear is quite misleading... Are they shorts or French knickers over the shorts?

Actually, you might not want to know after seeing this. Box unleashes her devastating mid-air gas blow which knocks the crap out of this Svaltus. Don't worry, Casts don't excrete bricks like Humans, Newmans or Beasts... OH NO SHE DIDN'T!

Getting trippy is so in, especially when you're on ice because it's edible!? Okay maybe I'm a little hungry now but I'll call this a self proclaimed trade mark screen capture. Getting hurt in game smacks you harder than a face plant, okay I lie.

Ami shows off her skills again, this time she's mingling with Mr.Dragon and he's impressed with her handy work.

Another thing about male characters, you can dress as the male partner machines. This one here being my favourite - PM490. You can see Gyudon's face right in the mouth, impressive pose if I was to say so myself.

WE'RE CHARGIN' OUR LAZERS!!! Yeah... we have fun when it gets really late.

Will consider posting up the whole C-MODO run at a later date. It's a lot of fun when you have a full party; falling down holes, getting shot by turrets, randomly bombed or ran over by machines is wonderful. For now I'll get back to the MAX event for filming so expect a video soon, hoping to mingle with more people that play so expect something juicy!

They're known rivals on Clad-6 but when they're in action, they sure can kick ass.
I'd call it sibling rivalry, or are they couples? Ami, Yuber... you haven't said anything about this!

I know it's late but I can say that it's finished. Sadly, main editing of footage was done with haste. To cover that I've thrown in an intro for some kicks. It's for entertainment purposes but this is how I roll when I'm rolling, barrel rolling.

This is a Rank A run so if all 4 Data Chips have been collected, you can choose to go against Vivienne via a spawned portal or stay on route with Dark Falz at the exit. Running Rank S will offer Helga instead (if my sources are correct). If you miss out on any Data Chips, then you'll have no choice but to fight Dark Falz before seeing Dulk Fakis (Phase 2) again *shrug*

Already hating on how long the video is; feel free to skip but for those wanting to learn the run, it's kinda covered but I do insist running it yourself. I've removed most of the last boss fight (Dulk Fakis) since it was already encountered in MAXII.

It took me a while to notice but I asked if Keiji's appearance was based on Celty Sturluson. In answer, Keiji had no idea what I was on about but mentioned that it was supposed to be a biker look. Anyway, that's what got me round to doing a 'Durarara' inspired intro for the video. I know that I've mentioned disliking the anime but it's a good watch nonetheless.

The credits or whatever you call them will see some ass anchoring action. I am a fan of Touhou, IOSYS and Anchors so I felt that it was necessary to some extent. Click for the video if you have no idea about 'キャプテン・ムラサのケツアンカー'

Successful runs mean that you will run it one more time, then another, and another. The fun doesn’t stop till you start to feel the fatigue kick in. One thing for sure, I can start work on the MAXIII video; I am hoping to go overboard with the editing this time so it might take longer than expected. Saturday, how did it go? I'll explain; woke up around 4PM which was good, providing that I had slept at 7AM earlier in the day. Left before 6PM to meet up with a few friends. One meal in the evening followed by an 'unplanned' karaoke and drinks left me in such a state that the day lasted only 7/8 hours. Passing out after getting home was a first but did that make any sense to you? Well, to avoid confusion... I'll be passing out again right after this post and I'm still hungover.

This site will undergo another revamp, advertisement is in the plans but that should help cover some costs for the domain/hosting. In the mean time I'll be on twitter assimilating followers with random food/drink pictures and updates.

MAXIII Progress

I've only ran this twice so far and I have to say, it's much better than the previous stages. The collection of chips is still necessary and providing that you manage to get all 4 before the boss fight; you will unlock a portal leading elsewhere to see a familiar face. They'll be different depending on the chosen rank which is still A or S. Any ideas who? *giggles*

I'll have to run this a few more times in order to post a video. It's much harder and requires good co-operation with your party members if you wish to survive. Scape dolls drop a lot so that says something, nonetheless its fun, fun, fun.

I've been playing this game for an hour already and it's really awesome. Will have to put it down as I need to prepare for MAXIII runs tonight on PSP2. Will be looking forward to it as mentions of 'awesome' sprinkled with a 'harder' difficulty enlightens me. This should make healing intense, which is the way I like it (would be nice if they had more light spells).

I spent the entire day naked yesterday

It’s been a week since I’ve deactivated my facebook account; reasons were personal and I was informed that it caused a stir-up with the friends on my list. I did not inform anyone of this and to be honest, I don’t see it being much of a big fuss. For those who wish to contact, you know where to find me. If not then good for you, I can't see myself using it again.

I’m going through a really bad phase at the moment; consider it a personality disorder which hasn’t changed throughout my early teen years. Transitioning to real life now, ugh... will stop there so instead, I’ll continue this post with current activities. It mostly consists of the usual along with sleeping, eating and some studies on the side but I’ll make a start.

Burnout is a bad sign for anything, in this case a game. Phantasy Star Portable 2 is showing that, especially with the current MAX event. Actually, it applies to all of the events the series has offered. I will finish the video coverage of all stages but after that it’s uncertain if I’ll be bothered to play. Despite the rant, I must congratulate ami for LV100 GET. That’s one step closer to LV101 and another 100 to LV200 *thumbs up* I mean you can get a lap dance here for free.

I have confirmation that my JP X360 still works. The original power adapter blew a year ago, only to realise that I can use any 360 adapter with it, so when I mentioned ‘fixed’ it pretty much was a fix? Anyway I can’t express my tears of joy. This means that I can resume my IDOLM@STER activities which are long overdue. Started a new file managing Chihaya Kisaragi, hopefully I won’t get disappointment like Haruka *shrug*

Activities in game spread out over a given amount of days, each day giving you activities to do during the morning, afternoon and evening with your chosen idol. This can range from outdoor visits to the shopping centre, training sessions to improve on voice, dance, appearance and such. Then there’s participation in competitions to rank up.

Super Street Fighter IV has been a great experience. I’ve been working away at arcade, challenge, training mode and participating in endless battles with friends only. I should consider rank matches on-line but I tend to get rage from playing random people, this applies whether I win or not. It’s serious business for some and I don’t play that way. There was one time where the same guy would keep sending game invites with mic spam messages, this was due to him beating me easily on Tekken 6, no thanks for taking the piss. Well, I'm hoping to bring out some videos for this in HD, 720 to be precise but due to my ageing desktop it won't be possible for a while but I'll get around that somehow.

Monster Hunter Tri. I promised a blog of some sort but it’s really hard when I want to enjoy it fully. Though, I’m thinking of uploading a few tutorial videos for those who are stuck on earlier bosses. Most people see my wisdom when I get passionate about something, the amount of wit that I can produce makes it worth their time too. Commentary will be supplied so consider them video log posts. Date TBC on the releases, I can get lazy so I’m just warning you in advance.

iPhone gaming works well when you’re in bed, especially if it’s a VN. I’ve been a fan of KIRA★KIRA since my ’08 visit to Japan. I’m a sucker for anything that happens in school, especially the theme of starting a band and rocking out success over time (Beck and Kei-on comes to mind). Character designs are decent and the voice acting doesn't disappoint.

Although I can purchase the PC version, this will make do for now since I’m just managing with my budget. One thing about this port, they’re removed out the H-scenes but that doesn’t stop me from drooling at Kirari and her clumsiness.

Talking about music, I played guitar for 7/8 years and did want to go all out in a band. That didn’t happen, no regrets since it’s all casual now. Relocated to an acoustic folk style to chill out whenever I play. Take Bambi’s performance of Cirno’s Perfect Maths Class for example, it's so beautiful. He has other Touhou covers so check them out if you want to.

Been digesting a lot of Spring Anime during my meals, not sure whether to say it's been getting better throughout the seasons but they're all enjoyable. B Gata H Kei is unbelievably hilarious, the most recent episode was made awesome with the featured scene (above). This relates to the post title too, couldn't think of what else to have *hahaha* Other series consists of Kaichou wa Maid Sama, Working!, Angel Beats, Kei-on, Hime Chen! Otogi Chikku Idol Lilpri and Kiss x Sis. Would also like to throw this one out, I've dropped Durarara due to being too dark for my liking *lame*

That's my update for the time being and it felt rather good, must do this more often. Oh, I have my eyes set on the following things for May. Lost Planet 2 releases for the PS3/360 in 5 days; Tuesday 11th May will be the date for an all out Akrid massacre. There will be pirates, mecha, weapons and explosions galore. What more could you want?

I can answer that... Do want METAL GEAR SOLID: PEACE WALKER for the PSP. This will be the portable game of the year in my humble opinion. ONEGAISHIMASU, BIG BOSSU!!

Lastly, the MCM EXPO at Excel will be happening near the end of the month. Expect a butt load of cosplayers, in all sizes with no pride or dignity and overpriced anime goods for sure *giggles* Signing out for now~

Can't stress how good this cover is from the original; Miku's voice just doesn't do it for me anymore, cover artists do it best in my opinion and Maria's got the singing spot on. Not just the singing but the PV generates so much goodness. Instrument transitions work wonders from start to finish and I can't say anything bad about this song ★★★★★

SSFIV, Ironman 2 and my arm

I've purchased the game! Traded in six games apparently, Cooking Mama 2 for the Wii got me the most money out of the lot... SERIOUSLY? Chose the Ryu iPhone case and ended up watching IRONMAN 2 during the night.

Firstly, the film is awesome and is worthy of two or even three screenings. I love where they're going with Ironman and the sneak preview at the end is a no brainer to what's going to happen in the sequel *screams*

Secondly, I happened to have strained the tendon in my right arm. Lately I've been getting a lot of discomfort during my sleep; I sleep over my arm at times and don't realise it, only to wake up feeling immobile. Okay that's not the main reason but the amount of gaming I have done over the week has caused this (serves me right). Therefore it's time to rest for a few days, inactivity will now occur.

Tonight also see's the showing of FATE/STAY night Unlimited Blade Works in London, among with three other films in an Anime/Manga movie night. I'll try and get some coverage of that for an upcoming post! It shall be a night full of fun, filled with caffeine, sugar and snacks... hehe.

SSFIV UK Release 30/04/2010

SSFIV has finally released in the UK today. Hoping to put the Tournament Edition stick that I got a month ago to good use now. Mashing the buttons on it has never felt so good, sadly I do that when I'm idling at my desk at night *shrug*

Lately, I've been watching videos uploaded by players from the US. My favourite of all time since vanilla would have to be Lancecryor. This Psycho Powered machine, in my opinion provides amazing commentary which wins by default. Feel free to check out his other uploads and I recommend subscribing for those SF/Tekken fans out there. Right, I've decided to head out for a mate's Birthday and will consider getting this game. Now it's just a case of what game I should trade in...
